Positive Behavior Guidance at Home

As parents and educators, we strive to guide behavior, set high expectations, and create an environment where children are active in monitoring their own behavior. In this hands on session, parents and caregivers will learn and try out practices and activities that support their child’s positive behavior at home.

Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

• Understand why it is important for parents/caregivers to support positive behavior at home
• Develop ideas for integrating positive behavior guidance strategies at home
• Be able to use the Spark Cards methodology, including reflection, to improve their ability to support positive behavior
• Share what and how they will implement what they learned
