A Healthy and Guilt-Free Guide to Parenting Kids & Screens

Learn effective strategies for managing screen time & supporting optimal brain development in children, with parenting expert Jane Schmidt.

Do you ever wonder how much screen time is too much for your child? Could you use more tips and tools on how to create boundaries for you and your family’s use of screens? Are you concerned about all the screen time your kids got during the pandemic? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, this presentation is for you!

As you know, screens are everywhere. They are a new variable in our children’s development and another factor in the mix of experiences they are exposed to that affect their growth and development.

In this presentation, you will learn:

  • How screen time affects brain and social development;
  • The possible and likely effects of too much screen time and what the ‘correct’ amount might be for your child;

  • New strategies to enhance the use of screen time and set limits that are fun, fair, and effective for the whole family.
